• HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE?

Service providers play an important role in prevention, and protection and rehabilitation of victims of GBV. However, in the region the public institutions are often short of staff and also lack the necessary professional competency, even more so in the context of the fight against GBV.

Throughout the Project, knowledge and skills of police, lawyers and judges, health personnel, and NGO staff on GBV including its causes and consequences, human rights and international service standards, relevant legal issues, and detection and intervention strategies, counselling and communication will be increased through trainings.

A regional training is planned to be organized in 2010 for health providers.
